Do you ship outside of Canada?

At this time we only ship orders within Canada. We do not ship to the United States or other countries – yet! If you would like to have coffee from Saltwinds shipped outside of Canada, please email communications@saltwindscoffee.com to discuss your case, and get added to a waiting list for shipment outside of Canada.

When will my order ship?

We aim to ship online orders within five business days of the order placement and payment approval. If you would like your order to ship sooner, that can often be arranged – simply indicate on your order notes if it is urgent and your desired ship by date. You can also select faster shipment options to get your coffee sooner.

Does coffee come ground or in whole beans?

If you click on the product, you can select whole bean or grind level.  If you do not specify, the coffee will be sent as whole bean.

What kind of shipping should I choose for my order?

There are a couple options available to get your order to you when you need it. We offer all services that are available with Canada Post, and we also offer UPS shipment options.

I placed an order, but haven’t received my package yet, and I ordered it awhile ago; where is it?

We want you to get your order quickly and error free. Since we work with Canada Post and/or FUPSedex to make this happen, we will need your help too! If it’s taking longer than usual, first take a look at your tracking number that gets emailed to you upon shipping. If the tracking indicates that the package has been delivered, give Canada Post or UPS a call; they are the most appropriate people to help in this case. It is possible there was an error in the shipping address. In some cases, severe weather warnings can delay things as well. If the shipping agent is not able to resolve your shipment query, please contact our team at communications@saltwindscoffee.com

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping within the Canadian provinces for orders over $60

Do you offer local pickup/delivery?

We will offer free local delivery occasionally.  Watch our social media feeds, or sign up for our email newsletter for notification.

Can I make changes to or cancel my order?

We try to ship your coffee order to you as soon as possible to ensure our coffee arrives as fresh as possible, therefore once payment is accepted and the order is confirmed, it is immediately in process to be shipped. There is a small window of time where we can pull the order out before it is physically packed. However, this means NO changes can be made to your order once it is placed, but we can cancel your order completely to start fresh if we have not shipped it out yet. The same applies for address change as we are unable to change the address once the order is shipped. Please make sure to input the correct address before placing your order.

If you need to cancel your entire order, please email us at communications@saltwindscoffee.com as soon as possible with the subject “Order Cancellation”. Include your order number, address and full name in the email body and we will try our best to cancel the order if we can. However, once an order is shipped and leaves our facility, we cannot make any changes to the order.

What is your return policy?

Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we cannot accept returns. However, we want you to be delighted with your Saltwinds Coffee purchase so if you feel that there is a quality issue or an error with your coffee order (opened or unopened), please contact our Customer Service Team at communications@saltwindscoffee.com to discuss a potential refund or replacement for your order.
We are not responsible for uninsured packages that are lost in transit.
Requests for refunds or replacements must be made within 30 days of order receipt.

What are the other Terms and Conditions of Sale?

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. Saltwinds currently accepts a number of  credit cards for online purchases. The product price displayed on our website does not include shipping.

Sales tax is applied where required. Coffee is not usually subject to sales tax, but other merchandise is.

After you submit an order, you will receive a confirmation that your order was received.
